Shrine Circus

This is the 60th year that Kora has sponsored the Shrine Circus. It is the major fundraiser for Kora’s operating budget. During the week of April school vacation, we will have 17 shows between Lewiston, Portland and Augusta. Volunteers are always needed and welcome. If you can’t volunteer your time during the week, ask how you may help in some other way. If you purchase your tickets and do not plan on attending please send them back to the Temple for distribution to families in need.

Lobster Bowl

The 24th annual Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic will be held on July 20, 2013 at Waterhouse Field in Biddeford Maine. This Senior High School all-star football game is the only Kora sponsored hospital fundraiser where 100% of the net proceeds from the game goes to support Shriners Hospitals for Children. This East vs West game brings student athletes from every football school in Maine together to produce this elite event. Players, cheerleaders and coaches commit to a week long training camp where friends are made and through exposure to Shrine patients, understand the true meaning of the game.

Kora FEZtival of Trees

The 7th Annual Feztival of Trees is another Kora operating budget fundraiser. This years event will run from November 17 through 24. We are planning to have in excess of 60 display trees, a craft fair, a silent auction and of course the kitchen will be open. The general public is invited in to see our beautiful building and help us kick off the holiday season. Watch for the upcoming details as word has leaked from the North Pole that Santa will be present to have pictures with the kids.
