The Genius of Islam
The next two murals, and the scene in the orchestra loft, portray beliefs and standards of Moslem life.
The mural "The Genus of Islam" deals with the rewards of the faithful Moslem warrior. The blood on the tip of the Scimitar is the blood of an infidel.
It is written that if a soldier of Islam dies in battle, he goes immediately to paradise. He will be surrounded by a harem of eighty-three (83) beautiful maidens, to be served and waited on for all eternity. The scene in the music loft, to the right of this mural further portrays the wonders of this paradise.
