2009 – ANNUAL MEETING - JANUARY 10, 2009
The 2009 Annual meeting of Kora Shrine will be called to order promptly at 1:00 pm on January 10, 2009 at Kora Shrine Center. There will be a reading of the annual reports, transaction of necessary business, election of Officers for 2009 and the presentation of the Units of Kora Shrine.
YOU MUST HAVE A 2009 SHRINE DUES CARD TO ATTEND THE BUSINESS SESSION
During the business session, a room at the Ramada Inn on Pleasant Street will be open for our Ladies to gather. Coffee, tea and light snacks will be provided. Bus transportation will be provided from the Ramada to the Shrine Center beginning at 3:30pm. Following the Business session, the Oasis will be open to the Nobles and their Ladies.
Dinner will be served from 4:00 pm until 5:30 pm. The meal will consist of a buffet featuring Toasted Top Sirloin of Beef with Grilled Onions, Herb Marinated Breast of Chicken and Baked Haddock with Sun Dried Tomatoes.
Promptly at 6:00 pm, the second portion of the 2009 Annual Meeting will begin with the introduction and installation of the 2009 Officers, the Black Camel Ceremony honoring our departed Nobles, presentations and a brief outline of the 2009 events. This will be followed by an evening of dancing and fellowship.
If you plan to enjoy dinner with us, you must make your reservations, preferably using the form below no later than December 30, 2008. This form is also downloadable from the Kora web site.
Additionally, there are hotel rooms available at the Ramada Inn. There will be bus service provided between the Shrine Center and the Ramada. The rooms are available on a first come, first served basis at $96.20 per night (tax included). Please call the Ramada directly at 207-784-2331 to make you reservations. Make sure to mention Kora Shriners to receive this preferred room rate.
