Having Fun & Helping Kids

The Shriners are a fraternity of men who are also Freemasons. Freemasons are dedicated to leaving this earth in better condition than we found it. We are obligated to assist those in need wherever possible.

The Shriners's goal is to specifically help children. Seeing the smile of a child and watching them grow to become productive members of society and potentially the future leaders of our country is our ultimate goal.

It's difficult to put a smile on a child's face unless you are having fun doing it. Even though we are a fraternity, many of our events and activities involve the whole family unit.

Shriners Circus

What better way to put a smile on a child's face than to see his/her expression at a circus. The Shriners Circus has been doing this for over 55 years.

Parades

Another great family activity is watching a parade from the roadside. Shriners have participated in many community parades thoughout the State of Maine for generations.
